Poker Hand Rankings
If you want to become a master at the game of poker it is
important to understand the the poker
hand rankings. This will help you in two ways, firstly,
it will allow you to quickly recognize your current hand
strength, and secondly, it will help you to become familiar
of when you should be folding. In the Pictures below are
the hand rankings of poker. They are listed in order from
highest hand ranking to the lowest hand ranking.

Royal Flush
Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten of the same suit
Straight Flush
Any five cards of the same suit in consecutive numerical
order
Four of a Kind
Four cards of the same rank
Full House
Three of a kind and one pair. Ties are broken first by the
three of a kind, then the pair
Flush
Five cards of matching suit
Straight
Any five consecutive cards of mixed suits. Ace can be high
or low
Three of a kind
Three cards of the same rank
Two Pair
Two different pairs with one odd card
One Pair
One pair with three odd cards. In a tie the high card wins
High Card
If no other hand is achieved, the highest card held wins
